Bronze Saints

Bronze Saints are the lowest ranking Saints in Athena's army, wearing the Cloths that correspond to their guardian constellations.

Powers and Abilities

Their mastery in Cosmo are relatively limited and they display superhuman skills that are less impressive than those of higher ranked Saints. Despite this, however, they do show superhuman traits that far exceeds that of an ordinary civillian.

Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: All Bronze Saints possess to some degree a proficiency in unarmed combatant, capable of packing powerful punches, elbows, kicks, and grapples, depending on where they've trained and what kind of combat they practised.

Superhuman Strength: Bronze Saints possess a high degree of physical strength. Their punching power is great enough to shatter multiple, concrete buildings and crack through hard steel.

Superhuman Speed: Bronze Saints are able to instantly accelerate and run at Mach 1, which is the speed of sound. They are capable of closing great distances which, in the eyes of a civillian, would occur almost in the blink of an eye

Superhuman Durability: Due to their Cloths being of the lowest rank, Bronze Saints may seem fragile when compared to stronger opponents. However, they have shown on multiple occasions to be very durable when in combat. Pegasus Seiya managed to catch bullets with his hands, suffering no injury at all.

Enhanced Endurance: A Bronze Saint's endurance is very high, they are capable of surviving attacks that would easily kill average human beings.

Cosmo Power: Although they belong to the lowest rank, Bronze Saints still possess a powerful amount of Cosmo. Cygnus Hyōga, using only his Cosmo, was capable of freezing Camus's Aquarius Cloth, while Andromeda Shun, after utilizing his full power, inflicted several cracks on Aphrodite's Pisces Cloth (both of them being Gold Cloths).

• Sixth Sense: As with many of Athena's Saints, Bronze Saints have the Sixth Sense known as Intuition, meaning that they can feel and use Cosmoenergy over large distances, predict movements without the use of their other five senses, as well as using supplementary abilities like telepathy, atomic manipulation and destruction, and/or projecting energy blasts.

Despite their mastery over the Cosmo being at the basic level, several Bronze Saints of various eras have managed to surpass their limits, allowing them to fight on par with Gold Saints and even, to some degree, wound the gods themselves.

Role

There are 48 Bronze Saints, this makes them the largest in number among the 88 Saints.

Their role during wars are usually to assist higher level Saints, or to perform missions involving gathering of informations or defend civilians. They also fight against enemies which are impossible to be defeated by common soldiers.
