The Cygnus Cloth is one of the 48 Bronze Cloths worn by Athena's Saints. Having spent an eternity behind the frozen waterfall, it's said to be almost impenetrable to enemy projectiles.

First Cloth

Like most Bronze Cloths, the Cygnus Cloth covers a minimum amount of the user, compared to other Cloths of higher rank. The legs reach up to the knee joints, a kilt protects the waist, the chestplate covers the upper part of the chest and the bracers protect the outer part of the user's arms. Unlike the other four main Bronze Cloths, the Cygnus Cloth does not possess a full helmet, but rather a simple headpiece. Similar to the Dragon Cloth, instead of a bracer on the left arm, there is instead a large shield.

The entire Cloth is silver/white in colour, the exception being the red and black insignia on the waist, blue insignia on the headpiece, while the eyes are red and the beak is yellow.

New Cloth

After being revived by the blood of the Gold Saints, the Cygnus Cloth changes shape: the kilt has been replaced by a more simple belt, the leg armor covers mostly the front part of the legs, the chestplate covers the same amount but slightly changes in appearance and the armguards receive a slight change in appearance. The insignia changes chape and instead becomes three, separate red-coloured lines with the middle being the largest.

As seen during the battle between Cygnus Hyōga and Kraken Isaac, in addition to increased durability, the Cloth will shine like a Gold Cloth once its user reaches the Seventh Sense.

Final Cloth

During the Holy War against Hades, the Cloth was revived by the blood of Athena, altering its appearance once more. True to Shion's statement as the most powerful version, this Cloth covers more of the Cloth than its previous version.

The belt now protects the sides and back parts of the user's waist, leaving only the front exposed. The legs are more covered than the previous version. The shoulderplates increases in size while the chestplate remains unchanged.

God Cloth

During their battle with Hypnos in order to save Shun, Hyōga's Cosmo reaches a new height, awakening his God Cloth granted by the divine blood of Athena in his Cloth.

Being the ultimate form, the Cygnus God Cloth covers the same amount of the body as a Gold Cloth would, bright golden inlays are added to the bracers, shoulderplates, chest, shield, legs, waist and headpiece. The rest of the Cloth takes on a mixture of silver and blue colours, similar to the Pegasus God Cloth but slightly darker. In addition, large wings appear on the rear of the Cloth.

When in God Cloth state, the Cygnus Cloth is said to be almost as powerful as one of the 12 Kamui worn by the Olympian gods.
